At ELEV8 Lacrosse, we believe that fundamentals are the foundation of the game. Our mission is to provide players with focused, individualized instruction in a positive and supportive environment.

ELEV8 Technical Sessions are specifically designed for lacrosse players seeking to develop face-off skills with guidance from the most accomplished Canadian face-off specialists. These experts bring extensive experience from the National Lacrosse League (NLL), former Major Lacrosse League (MLL), NCAA, and World Lacrosse (WL) competitions.

COACHES

GEOFF SNIDER

Geoff Snider’s dominance in face-offs across multiple leagues and international competitions solidifies his legacy as one of lacrosse’s greatest specialists. National Lacrosse League (NLL):
Drafted 4th overall in the 2006 NLL Entry Draft.
 
Played for the Philadelphia Wings and Calgary Roughnecks.
 
Set the NLL Face-off Record, becoming the all-time leader in regular season faceoff wins (2,468) and playoff wins (208).
 
Scored the fastest goal in NLL history, finding the net 5 seconds into a game against the Buffalo Bandits on January 26, 2008.
 
Consistently won over 70% of faceoffs during his career, providing a significant possession advantage for his teams.
 
Named NLL All-Star MVP twice (2008, 2012) and selected to five NLL All-Star Games (2007, 2008, 2009, 2011, 2012).
 
Major League Lacrosse (MLL):
Drafted 17th overall in the 2006 MLL Entry Draft.
 
Played for the Denver Outlaws and contributed to the Toronto Nationals’ MLL Championship win in 2009.
 
NCAA:
Played for the University of Denver as a Division I athlete.
 
Named a Third-Team All-American.
 
Holds the NCAA record for single-season ground balls.
 
World Lacrosse:
 
Represented Team Canada in six World Lacrosse Championships—four times as a player and twice as an assistant coach.
 
Won gold medals in 2006 and 2014, earning MVP honors in the 2006 championship.
 
Secured silver medals in 2010 and 2018.
 
Coached Canada’s U19 team to silver medals in 2012 and 2016.
 
 
 
 

BOB SNIDER

Bob Snider’s career reflects consistent excellence in face-offs across professional leagues, leadership at the collegiate level, and dedication to growing lacrosse globally through coaching and development roles.

 
 
National Lacrosse League (NLL):
Drafted 16th overall in the 2009 NLL Entry Draft by the Philadelphia Wings.
 
Played for multiple teams, including the Philadelphia Wings, Washington Stealth, Colorado Mammoth, Calgary Roughnecks, and Vancouver Warriors.
 
NLL Face-off Leader for three consecutive seasons: 2011, 2012, and 2013.
 
Set the Single Season Record for Face-off Wins in 2012.
 
Contributor to the Calgary Roughnecks’ 2019 NLL Championship victory.
 
Played in the NLL Champions Cup Final with Washington Stealth in 2011 and 2013.
 
Major League Lacrosse (MLL):
Briefly played for the Hamilton Nationals in 2012.
 
NCAA:
Competed at Bellarmine University, an NCAA Division I school.
 
Served as Team Captain in 2008 and 2009.
 
World Lacrosse:
 
Currently serves as Head Coach of the Hong Kong Men’s Representative National Team, contributing to international lacrosse development.
